What's
New in SuccessWare 6.0
•
New month, list, and resources by week views in the scheduler.
• Quick appointment scheduling via drag-and-drop of saved "favorite appointments."
• Staff reminders using pop-up windows, emails and SMS text messages.
Send reminders any number of minutes, hours, or days before/after an appointment or at a specific date and time.
• Automatic emails sent to clients and prospects before and/or after appointments.
• Extremely flexible business hours and staff work hours editing and display.
• Full conflict checking with other appointments, business hours, and staff work hours.
• Highly adjustable scheduler user interface with user-defined layouts.
• Sunrise/sunset time display.
• All-day appointment display area.
• Automatic display of selected holidays.
• Appointment "snap to" setting.
Adjusts the time increment used when dragging to create, move or resize appointments. 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 minute and 1 hour increments are available.
• Appointment tips and quick display.
Placing the mouse arrow on an appointment displays a small tip window showing more about the appointment than can be displayed within the allotted appointment space. Alt-clicking on Windows or option-clicking on Macintosh displays all appointment information in a nicely formatted pop-up window. Dismiss the window by clicking anywhere outside the window or on it (in other words, by clicking anywhere) or click the window's edit button to make changes.
• Increase or decrease scheduler font sizes.
Set your desired font size for each view.
• Date history pop up on the scheduler.
• New staff interface.
Allows you to manage your staff members within SuccessWare. Set each person's roles (photographer, salesperson), sales commission rate, mailing address, preferred reminder methods, etc.
• Easier updating of location and equipment resources.
• Session deletion audit trail logging.
• Import expenses from iXpenseIt (an iPhone app) and standard comma-separated values (.csv) files.
Just choose an item from the new Import pop up menu on Add Expenses.
• Forms now show who created the displayed record.
• Automatic software updates.
You can have the software notify you when a new version is available or just choose Check for Updates from the File menu. SuccessWare can now download and install the new version. When upgrading under multi-user, the SuccessWare Client application will automatically update itself to the new server version.
• Data file checks (File -> Check Data File) can now be run from client computers.
• Email messages can now be stored within the SuccessWare data file, giving all client computers easy access.
• Email invoices are now stored in the data file and are immediately sent when chosen from the Email pop up menu instead of first being displayed within the Email Editor.
This gives all clients full access to all email invoices. To edit an email invoice instead of sending it, hold down the Alt key on Windows or the Option key on Macintosh while choosing it from the Email pop up menu.
• A list of session subjects can be added to letters, emails and labels.
Choose Detailed Subject List within the Insert Field window.
• All window sizes are automatically saved and used when reopening windows in the future.
• A list of upcoming appointments can be added to letters and emails.
Choose "Upcoming appointments" under Clients or Prospects within the Insert Field window.
